My Engagement Day

Assalammualaikum wbt and hello everyone!

On 26th March, yea I was engaged haha. My grandfather kan, when I told him I wanna get engaged he asked me ' dengan sape ? Today's will be sharing here and there about my engagement cz some dm me and ask I think better I compile them here.

Let's start with ,
Busana. I did not want a dress, tho my family all kept saying ' u know nowadays people get this kind of baju for engagement' and I said, yea that is why. because there has been plenty people wearing those kind of baju like dress labuh some flowers timbul2 or beadings something like that, that is why I wanted to wear something uncommon so I chose a simple and soft color songket bought in Jakel, and my mom decided to make it kebarung labuh and it turns out so damn nice ! This design, is inspired by Kak Abil ( nabila huda ) on her wedding day, also by Arma Couture. Sewn by, no couture couture haha it's by a nyonya I think her name is YahLee? ( aunt's regular taylor) . For veil, I told my mom siang2 lagi I dont want the modern veil labuci2 one. I want it like the alas meja kind of lace. ( orang dulu2 kan pakai alas meja putih bunga2 jarang2 tuu tuu ) so they gave me the reaction of..huh????? haha I told them, no worry! it will turn out nice cz i saw those 90's women they wore this kind of lace for their veil on top of their sanggul.kan! First I was worried la cz I wear tudung so wonder if the veil and tudung suit well, then I guess yea I made the right choice,kot haha. For this , it needs more than 5 metres . Disaster for me to walk as the skirt inside was a very small opening ( u need 5 1/2 or 6 metres la ) sebab nak kembang bagai or else end up like me jalan melayu terakhir simply cz my kain is sempit not enough meters haha. Upah jahit costed me only RM 85 only believe it or not. ( Told you cz it's not a couture couture ) hhahaaha for the songket, cant recap the price .
Next, mini pelamin.It was complicated. Cz my taste is different with what the local bridal house could provide and some do but the price is , no I dont wanna pay for that much. So I told my father, instead of I pay them then they ll give me something that I dont like but I have to pay mahal for it, can u help me to do it? Definitely he said yes cz he loves doing this kind of thing like decorating, mengukir ukir, stuffs. We go white cz we believe it will turns out nice in the picture so he made the wooden white frame ukir sendiri potong sendiri everything. Initial plan was to make it brown but last minute, we changed. Th hydrangeas and large orchids I bought them in Cowboy ( just in front of my house I call it Ikea BP) haha. Those brown and ceramic vases, my dad's.  White curtains and white carpets we rent them ( will give the instagram later ) . Chair, it has been here for so long already but my friends asked ' ni kerusi mana' haha we just painted it gold and changed the cushion cover. Satisfied and jimat cost!
Dulang hantaran.
Me and his mom kept discussing and updating about this cz we want them to look perfect in everything la, designs, colors, the trays, the items on the trays and so on. It was 5 berbalas 7 ( or 7 berbalas 5?) im not sure sorry and we bought them together mostly were ofcourse from JPO cz it's the nearest and most convenience for me  haha it's really easy to get them from there okay sebab you can get handbags, women and men's shoes, shirt, perfumes,makeup set, and bla2 under one roof ! Dont end up finding sirih and Alquran there just because I said u can get most of them there pulak! But if you have more time and passports, go shop in Singapore once they have sales. My uncle told me ( only after I bought them all sigh ). Other option if u want to get cheaper than JPO kan, I suggest to order it direct from Europe and USA through this ig ->  @berndmar    and   @usa_loveshoppe .They are Malaysians personal shopppers.  I used to buy things from them la tapi as it takes weeks to be delivered so for this hantaran matter, I didnt. For baju , we bought siap2 nikah's busana so easy la sekali jalan je one time beli,
The girls and boys.Chose the baby purple color, everything ( except for tudung and necklace ) is from Jakel.
My family. I didnt give them specific colors but I told them to wear Pastels and my parents were in Baby Blue.
Food.Catering. And most of the desserts , kuih muih everything were from my mom's friends,free. Till we all pun macam confuse ni siapa bagi ni siapa bagi there were plenty haha Alhamdulillah . Cheesetart on my hantaran with ship's detailing was from my aunt, Narida Nalina gundut cheesetart !
Doorgift The Reko is from Ikea we bought 150 pcs for it. Then the what's that eak crysta glass jar tah apabenda tu from one of the suppliers in Ayer Itam , glass bottle from ( sorry i xtau nama kedai haha ) and kacang sponsored by my uncle, Cikmi and Popcorns for kids sponsored by my aunt Cikma.
Makeup I first wanted to go matte makeup but suggested by a MUA also, I should not go for matte. Matte  for daily okayla, it's an engagement so should try highlighting here and there so I told these to my MUA for the majlis . I was worried, worried if I ended up looking like pondan matila nakk cz sometimes , some MUA will make you look like bapuk for real for real then Jannah ( my MUA ) did glittering. I first said no no no glittering  xsuka but when it done, wow.. not bad hehe I love it it enhance my look actually. here's the contact list

overall kan
I think the paling high cost one is, our barang hantaran demmit lol others were okay okayla , and makeup and photographer , sure u can makeup urself can use ur own dslr but i didnt want to pening2 kepala, and wanted a perfect result, so I took the professionals one la. for me I dont mind if there comes any negative perceptions or issues   thrown to me like apa2 la haha I am just here, enjoying and keep being positive for me nothing's wrong thankyou to both families majlis went well . I am born to be very detail type of em bitch haha and k whatever hahaha it's okay .. Smile :)
 em these are all that I can think about now I might miss somewhere somewhat if you wanna know just text me ( like tyara she asked me who's cream puff was it ) haha okay till then.. I gotta pack my bag for the Nepal trip this Sunday, and my pending lipstick's work matter ( nangis ) , and ba2 okaybyeeeeeeee see ya !
