Hi, Assalamualaikum 

After 6 years of being in relationship, I finally get married with a man whom I have fallen in love each day, di ijab kabulkan on 2 / 2 / 2018 followed by the reception on the next day and the second reception on Aris' side on the following weekend.

The preparation was not a joke. I spent almost each week of the months for more than a half year to prepare what I could, spent times money energy and everything that I could afford to, to ensure this wedding is according to what I hoped for. I am so thankful that I am blessed with a very supportive family my parents aunts and uncles who worked hard for my reception and my mom in law who has been a very ngam gang, understanding and cooperative since the preparation of our engagement till the wedding. People always have choices and I chose to make my reception that way. You, don't complain haha.

Preparation wise, I'm not sure for other people but for me if you really want to have a reception, either big or small you must first get the money ready. Ongkos nya itu penting buk! This might be the reason that leads to some of us to not married yet? But I say this again, this is all depends on you some people think that it's not necessary so terpulang la. For me because I memang really want it, so gotta worked for it.

Once you have this, then only you can think of what kind of dress you want, meal budget per head, pelamin, and etc. It can be below 5k above 50k or whatever, no specific amount to be exact. Suka hati yang penting ye nikah kan haha.

And all of these, totally depend on you and your family. You know, sometimes you want it to be this way but since we still have a family so we cant avoid the facts that there are things we cant decide by our own and sometimes we even have to give in. Yes it's your wedding. But as I said sometimes in some matters you will have to give in. Percayalah nanti you buat majlis you will know haha. 

I will make another post specifically on what to prepare upon the marriage especially untuk orang Johor on how I did the kursus kahwin, step by step untuk isi borang pendaftaran nikah online, and temuduga perkahwinan kat pejabat agama.

Anyway whatever it is Alhamdulillah perjalanan dipermudahkan tho there were some hiccups which is normal but most importantly is to move on and have a better life that's it. I am now married, which leads to a title ' Wife ' haha and this is surely a very big responsibility but I am all ready since ever :)
