I don't know why I have so much courage tonight to post almost everything about my exprnce in here, AKADEMI LAUT MALAYISA, MALAYSIAN MARITIME ACADEMY, (ALAM). skejap je..It has been one semester. rasa macam baru sekejap datang sini daftar, induction, kenal with the friends here, omg everything goes so fast! let's recap : )
INDUCTION
Owh I came earlier for Induction, one week before for the British Council programe untuk those yg AET n MISC sponsored. Induction was not as harsh or bad or DEAD as I thought before. Like seriously we were soooo lucky and blessed hahaa sebb ours was okay la . u know, that was one of the thing that I worried the most bila masuk ALAM, their induction haha. Induction, time to learn every new thing and istilah2 yg specific. eg, cabin is actually our room, galley , the place to eat, parade square is the place to gather or em kawad then what else 'colours' , mcm perhimpunan pagi every weekdays . and 'roll call', berkumpul every night at 10.

ReplyDeleteHi, there! Just a quick question from someone who's about to join ALAM in like a month or so. What do the rooms look like though? I've seen pictures of the rooms having 6 beds in each (white bed sheets and blue blankets), but that picture of your room looks totally different, though..
ReplyDeleteAlso, do we get to leave the academy's compound at night within a certain period? Perhaps to drive to a nearby place to hangout and then be back in by 10? Is that allowed? I'd really appreciate if you could share your years of experience and knowledge being there.
