Assalamualaikum hey welcome back! Note : Post ini akan ditulis dalam bahasa Melayu rojak. Understand the needing of posting one in English to suit my blog traffic needs, I will have another separate post later.
To start with, Aghis and I went back to Johor for the election and since we got a new ruling government, I decided to make use of the extra public holidays for a short getaway. I mean, it was , really short! haha 2DAYS 1 NIGHT.
Did I take a long time to prepare for this trip?
Nope. Not at all! It was a night before that I decided to wake my husband up yang tengah tido ' Baby jalan jom esok? ' ' where ' ' Rawa nak? Heard of it ' ' k jom '
I tell you why I didnt need such a long time to prepare. Sebab memang tak ada apa benda sangat pun nak prepare lagipun berdua je kan. ala kalau berlima pun xda hal la. benda boleh settle.
What to bring?
After all, it's an island, not a condominium's swimming pool yang ada pakguard that will chase u out if u wear tshirt kan!
Benda basic yang kena bawa:
- a suitable swimming wear
- OOTD with beach hats,
( this only applicable for me, as for Aghis I brought him two white shirts and two summer pants only, senang kan jadi lelaki kan kita dengan nak kena bawak tudung, kena la lain2 pagi lain esok lain malam lain. ha lah nanti dalam gambar kan sama je xsyok haha)
-shades. I swear this is important.
-slippers. sampai je jetty, toksah la pakai kasut.
- camera
-camera tripod ( you dont want to trouble others to take your photos )
-toiletries
-inner wear ( bring as much as you can !)
-cash at least RM 200 in hand.
IMPORTANT TO FIRST UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT OF RAWA !
FIRST of all, sebelum korang book the place it is really,really important for you to understand these following infos iaitu;
- Pulau Rawa ni adalah salah satu pulau yang ada kat kepulauan mersing di Johor,MALAYSIA.
- Mersing kan ada banyak pulau kan like Tioman, Pulau Besar , etc. So Pulau Rawa is just one of it.
-To go to Pulau Rawa is the same macam korang pergi pulau2 lain tu which is kena naik boat from Jetty Mersing.
- Jadi tak kisahla korang dari pelusuk mana, you got to drive ke Jetty tersebut. Nak ke sana jangan gatal waze Pulau Rawa pulak eak, search la Jetty Mersing atau Jeti Penumpang Jabatan Laut Mersing.
-Ni paling ramai taktau. Dalam Pulau Rawa ada two options of accommodation. Yup two only iaitu Rawa Island Resort and lagi satu, Alang Rawa. Sebelah2 je, takda boundaries ke apa ke takda. So you got to choose one! Secara ringkasnya I give u an early idea la ea apa beza dua penginapan ni.
Rawa Resort, mahal gila. Alang Rawa, mahal sikit haha. If you found them cheap, ye Alhamdulillah.
- But afterall, dua2 penginapan ni on the same island.

Pening? Dont be. haha let me summorize for you.
So berdasarkan table harga yang korang tengok kat link tadi ni kan, those prices , contohnya the cheapest you may see is RM 1880 kan.
this is for one person, for two nights.
RM 1880 ni untuk satu orang, dua malam malam.
Jadi kita keluarkan Calculator, kalau satu malam sorang berapa? :
RM 940 per person, per night
That also does not include, tidak termasuk the additional charges as mentioned for eg.
Adult meals : MYR 440.00 Child meals : MYR 340.00
Two way boat transfer : MYR 100 nett / person piece
Surcharge charge : MYR 30 nett
(Eve or On Malaysia & Singapore Public Holidays)
All this above is price, for per person.
Since I dont stay here, if you are interested to, you calculate yourself lah ea the total budget haha.
Option 2 : My Option : ALANG'S RAWA
See even the name has no resort behind it tu pasal la murah sikit haha. This, even it's one of the most expensive compared to other islands in Mersing like Tioman, Pulau Besar, it is still much cheaper compared to RAWA ISLAND RESORT tu kan. Double kot. Tengok bawah ni.
Since kitorang last minute, esok nak pergi malam ni baru send email ask for quotation jadi kitorang ambil jela bilik mana yang available. Tapi as for our case we went on weekdays, Friday- Saturday so chances to get room tu a lil high la tapi kalau korang plan nak pergi on Weekend ha better book awal2.
So kami dapat Beachfront room type :
RM 490 per person + taxes = RM 568.50 per person , per night.
So, RM 568.50 seorang untuk satu malam.
Unlike RAWA ISLAND RESORT ada extra charges for few things kan. kat Alang, harga ni dah termasuk all these below,
meal ( 1 lunch 1 dinner 1 breakfast )
Boat transfer , Two ways
And tho it was a public holiday, we were not asked to pay extra than the mentioned prices.
Ada lagi satu bilik murah sikit nama dia Standard Jungle Side room, harga dia RM 460 +16%tax per person per night.
Next Question. Is there such a huge gap of standards between these two Rawa resort and Alang since the price gap is almost a double?
Banyak sangat ke beza dari segi standard di antara kedua2 tempat tu Rawa Resort and Alang Rawa memandangkan perbezaan harga yang hampir dua kali ganda?
My answer base on what I observed.
Interior wise : Yes. big gap. Rawa Resort dia macam rumah dalam hutan yang tepi pantai tau.memang luxury. Alang pulak very basic but really cosy seyh! Untuk tengok Rawa Resort punya photos, click here RAWA RESORT'S ROOM
Facilities : Not really. Lebih kurang je.
Meal : Not sure but Alang's meals memang sodap!
Privacy wise : Alang is better.
Penerangan untuk point2 di atas akan dibentangkan di bawah ya Yang berhormat sekalian.
Okay now since youve got the rough ideas between the two, I will proceed with the detail of my stay at ALANG RAWA.
1st day: 11th April 2018 : Friday
We were given two options either we would like to board the boat at 11am or 3pm.
I chose 11am. From Batu Pahat it took me around 2.5 hours to Jetty Mersing. Kalau dari KL rasanya dalam 5 jam. Dari Johor Bahru 2.5 H je. So kat Jetty Mersing ni kitorang jumpa dengan the person in charge for Alang. Sebelum sampai pun the PIC dah contact I through Whatsapp to confirm our ETA, and etc. Good admin service. And dia yang uruskan boat kita nak ke sana, Kita duduk elok2 je kat office dia tu.
The boat journey took us around 20-30 minutes only. I think Tioman took a longer time.
Upon arrival, you may witness such a very beautiful scenery as the water was so crystal clear , again better than Tioman and we could see the water slides from far together with the jetty. Ala Pulau Rawa ni macam dikenali sangat pasal water slides kuning dia tu kan haha. So once the boat was beaching, I was wondering apesal dorang tak turunkan kami ni kat jetty yang cantik tu? Padahal dekat gila dalam 200 metre away je. Instead, kitorang kena lompat dari boat tu ke air pastu jalan sikit ke pantai. Alah but really no harm at all lah, dalam 1 3 tapak je kaki kena air dah sampai pantai dah. Rupanya, oh okay jetty tu untuk those passengers yang stay at Rawa Island Resort. Ya lohhh pay more whatttt haha. Padahal dua2 ni sebelah2 je jalan kaki , jalan dalam air semua sampai la tak da boundaries pun but ye lah kan nama pun dah lain. Rege pun dah lain lol!
A very friendly staff welcomed us and brought us to our room, but he did not give us any key neither ask for deposit or even the full payment. I noticed that another group pun takdapat kunci so kat situ, kitorang keluar bilik ke apa pintu tak berkunci pun. dalam bilik nak berkunci tu bolehla. But for this if you would like to confirm you may ask them.
Our Room:
Puas hati! walaupun mula2 tu kerek sikit bila realised yang bilik tu takda aircond, tapi percayalah bawasanya pabila malam tiba ko tak terpikir pasal kipas pon! haha and the room is spacious enough! 1 Queen bed, 1 single bed. Bilik sebelah tu lagi la I nampak ada la dalam 5 orang kot dia sumbat, with extra mattress. tu pun bukan tilam atas lantai k. dia bagi macam katil yang boleh lipat2 tu something la I cannot skodeng sangat because that room all were boys kang laki ku meroyan pulak usha lama2 kan.I did mention that Alang is more privacy kan? Yes sebab in Alang, tak lebih daripada 20 bilik yang ada. kat Rawa island resort tah berapa banyak bilik ratus agaknya because it is really besar i tell you. So, more rooms means more visitors. more hanky panky. In Alang, kitorang chill chill je orang tak ramai, tempat luas dont really need to share with others kalau bawak anak2 tu memang muai la dorang nak main.
Sampai je, they asked if we want to have the lunch now or esok. Remember for 2D 1 N package, the meal is 1 sarapan 1 lunch 1 dinner. Since we plan to leave early esoknya so we had the lunch on the first day. Kalau harini nak lunch, esok before balik nak lunch lagi macam mana? suka hati ler, bayo je la lebih confirm dia bagi makan nak extra 4 kali pun boleh!
Kat situ activity dia tak da lah banyak sangat. but good enough for 2D 1 N. rasanya kalau lebih dua hari dah jadi boring.
Activity : All free of charge
- Volleyball. If u come in a group of friend this will be really fun! Dahla pasir dia best gila kottt sumpah.
- Snorkeling. Yang ni kita tak payah pergi naik boat lagi ke tempat lain untuk snorkeling. Ambik je Snorkeling set yang dah disediakan, semua orang kat situ snorkeling dekat2 situ je sebab dah memang cantik, no need to go far !
- Kayak. Free. Pun sama SubhanaAllah bila berkayak kat situ I felt so, so calm and amazed the view was just phewww.
- Water slides. Water slides ni bukan Alang punya. It's Rawa Resort's tapi ada one of the visitor tu kata pergi je doesnt matter so kami pun berjalan kaki dalam air, pergi ke slides tu. Orang putih seronok betul bawa anak2 main kat slides ni cz they all can swim well! yang Meleis ni mostly, em no komen.ahah
- Jungle Trekking. Free. From Alang, jalan sikit ke Rawa untuk naik atas ada macam mountain island tu la where we could see the whole of RAWA's view! Pergi pagi2 la best boleh witness sunriseeeee. co cweet.
- At their cafe, ada la few board games that we can play. Ada darts ada chess ada scrabble ada dam. You might be like he ele pergi pulau nak main benda alah tu. Eh tak. After dinner, dengan sayup2 ombak the calm and peaceful environment, it was fun to spend some times to play them!
Kenapa kena standby RM 200 cash ? sebab the water sports equipment kalau nak guna kena letak deposit RM 100 per person. Dah siap guna, dorang pulang balik duit. But that day I nak bayar dia kata tak pe pulak main je just ensure letak balik. Tapi korang standby je la ea bawa siap2 cash in hand.
Then, AIR MINUMAN TIDAK TERMASUK DALAM PACKAGE. jadi setiap kali kita makan tu, air bayar lain nanti masa check out. So total for two of us tiga kali makan, air sahaja dalam RM 60. Satu gelas air standard Secret Recipe, RM14-20.
Summary
Budget that has been spent per person:
PACKAGE : BILIK+BOAT+MAKAN 3x = RM 568.50
AIR MINUMAN - RM 35
PARKING RM 18 / NIGHT
So total +- RM 1220 satu malam untuk kami dua orang.
em dah tu je yang kitorang bayar for Rawa. haha yang lain duit minyak semua masing2 lah kan.
Best ke ? Berbaloi ke?
I can say that we paid for the view. Untuk kita yang tak kisah untuk stay in a very basic room, tapi i can ensure sangat selesa and bersih, Alang Rawa is totally good enough. Lagipun tak ramai orang tu yang best. Private island kan. Tapi kat Rawa Resort memang ramai, can imagine breakfast pun mesti penuh.
Lagipun dah sampai sana dah tak payah fikir apa, nak pergi snorkeling macam mana la apa la everything kita buat sendiri ikut suka kita,ikut timing kita, keselasaan kita. It is yet a luxury and different than most of any other island in Semenanjung Malaysia. Okayla kan kat Johor je pun dah cantik macam tu ! No need passport pun. Cantik ke tak cantik tengok la gambar2 kitorang ni kat sini -- > ARYANA RAWA ALBUM.
FAQ
Ada line ke kat sana?
Digi phone network ada tapi Internet tiada. My husband used Webe. Dua2 phone and internet coverage dia dapat.
Makan sedap?
Sedap. Lunch kitorang diberi pilihan untuk pilih main courses, tapi memang sedap dan banyak and puas hati. Dinner, buffet style and again, puas hati sebab kalau kitorang kira2 sorang punya makan tu ada lah dalam RM 40-50 per plate ada udang beso semua. Breakfast biasa je, tak banyak choice ada nasi lemak ( but im impressed on how they can make such a good nasi lemak! selalu hotel2 mahal / island resort nasi lemak dorang zz hampeh. And other basic breakfast meal like cereal, breads.Tapi betul la each of the hidangan memang sedap dia buat.

Bayar package tu macam mana?
Actually ikut procedure kena bayar full payment tru online before datang. But since mine was really last minute, kami bayar masa check out je. Checkout and buat bayaran kat cafe dorang je tu ha takda lobi2 bagai takda.
Sesuai tak bawak kids?
Sesuaii gilaa!pantai kat Alang tu luas your kids gonna have lottss of fun! pastu dorang boleh main kat slides tu semua just ensure bawak siap2 pelampung yang kat bahu tu for kids so they can play the water slides without worries.
And bring your own la sand and beach toys kat Rawa xdak jual. Honestly the kids are gonna be more excited than the adults.
Kat jetty nak parking kereta kat mana? Selamat?
Ada few options. Yang public punya parking rate is RM 10 / malam. Ni kena tanya2 sikit orang kat sana mana park nya. I parked at Rawa Resort Island punya parking RM 18 / malam, sebab sampai2 terus nampak yang ni dulu so masuk jela. Dua2 I can say selamat , ada pakguard ada pagar.
Nota tambahan :
- Rumah2 kat situ semua papan tau. So, paham2 ea.
- No need to bring shoes at all. Keluar bilik semua kaki ayam je. I dah cakap banyak kali kan pasir dia best! haha somehow susah tau jalan kat pasir pakai slipper.
- Bawa la beach mat nak landing2 tepi pantai malam2 bolehla bentang tengok langit.gitteww
- Kat sana ada anjing sekor but no harm at all, dia tukang jaga je kot kat situ tak kacau orang langsung.

haha so when was the last time I post things ? I am so sorry, I might do so if you kindly lend me some of your time cz I have less of them ! So what 's the latest ? The caves stories ! Let's go.
When I got to know about the place, I got excited haha but to see the date, I was wondering if I was free ( you know my amazing weekends ' schedule -,-) we finally had a semester break for a week bro. It had been so long since the last time I had this kind of walk-in-nature and it was with my family.
Day 1-
From Shah Alam , we departed to KLIA in the morning and took the MAS flight to Mulu at 1015am. On the plane, when I was really about to sleep ( I sleep anywhere man,) hahahaha sengal , Aris asked me if I can survive in jungle
and I was like , ' we aint going to hutan la we're going to the caves '

err I guess you terlupa seketika that we went to all those reda hutan la jalan lasak la apende semua tu, --,-- underestimate boooyahhhh
Upon arrival the Miri airport we took another short flight to Mulu . owh ha , CikMar's luggage tetiba tak ada, tah mana lah dia nak melancong jugak agaknya even worst kan dah sah sah la baju semua dalam tu adoai haha so takpe la what to do we were then proceeded with the plan :) That ATR plane kan...hmmm wasnt as pleasure and as smooth as the normal plane haha rasa macam naik bus PatHup (Melaka people knows PATHUP well) yg terapung kat udara ahahaha sabar jela nasib baik route setengah jam je .

| yeaa ! sampai dah Upon arrival, we met our agent, Mr. J ( I am definitely Hentam the name cz I forgot the name lah hee) and he said that we were going straightly to Mulu National Park so we get prepared and changed the clothes..

 Owh btw, while we were there in Mulu Airport ( jangan pulak membayangkan dia macam KLIA ke pulak) , we bought the 2.5l bottles of mineral water and guess how much they costed ? +-RM6 but really , we couldnt say it was too much to pay sebab dorang pun nak dapat barang / groceries pun susah kena beli jauh2 nun sana. So to begin, we started with a 3 Km walk to the two first caves, DEER CAVE and LANG CAVE. the weather was fine ,not so hot thanks to the greens ! It was good to see those living things from the most tiny to the tallest and biggest trees . Along the way, Mr.J would stop us for some interesting information that we found in the park / forest but really , I sometimes couldnt really get the info sebab asyik dengan camera haha the worst is when whenever I asked Aris and he said ' Tah apa tah tadi dia cakap'' -,-      The weather was fine but it only lasts few minutes before we got to the first cave. And thanks to those green roof and yes luckily that we brought our own raincoat, we were not that wet macam student ALAM berlari basah kuyup ke kelas masa hujan .. EH !  and yess ! for the very first time we entered the most beautiful cave among all, Lang cave! Who is Lang ? A local man that was firstly found this cave. We were told that this was the most beautiful cave among all, tho we havent discovered others . It was really a great welcoming place as you can see the perfect formation on each of the stalagmite and stalactite in the cave. I felt overwhelmed as I could see them by the naked eyes ! A few days before coming to this trip, I ve done an earlier explorace with mr.google about this place (almaklumlah excited) and ofcourse I have witnessed a lot of beautiful pictures so I was hoping , 'janganlah tetiba terlupa bawak dslr ' haha. okay let's see if they are really wow if they dont look nice, blame me the photographer !

After about half an hour exploring the Lang Cave, we were then proceeded to Deer Cave that wasnt so far from Lang and it was amazed to be welcomed by Abraham Lincoln. ha?? haha see this
Told ya right? So really, this is one of the amazing natural phenomena.
So Deer Cave is actually the largest passage cave in the world ! In the middle of walk, there was one passage on our left side ( very,very dark) for people to walk through and that will lead to another place which I also not sure ( That is for the mainstream people lah haha)
And The fact that it wasnt that BEAUTIFUL AND PLEASANT like Lang. Standby with the face mask and head cover, you might be a little freaky to know that the bats are actually everywhere seeing you but you cant see any of them except of their sounds! And their shits , errrr sorry I mean FECES are everywhere on the ground and walkways and guess who get them the most > hehe will be revealed later. ( hint: yang tak pakai kasut)
       
So tedengg we were out from the Deer Cave after about 30 -40 minutes if Im not mistaken. So right after we were out from there, we realize that our shoes were decorated by batman''s black feces and Cik Mar's sandal got the most haha blame the airport blame the airport for the luggage ...
Towards the end of the evening , we were all waiting for the bats to come out from the cave. Ive seen the video in instagram on how the group of the bats flew out from the cave .And you know why am I telling you the 'EXPERIENCE' of me watching them in instagram? because the bats didn't show out even after we waited for about an hour and yes we missed the chance to watch them -,- kelawar yang malu2 kucing .
   
so yes after the patient of waiting, we decided that we couldnt wait any more longer so let's walk back ! The same plank walk that we started, we agreed yang perjalanan balik tu rasa lama semacam je padahal sama je , lagi balik tu berbual2 bagai and we even walked much faster but maybe because it was already dark ( 1830-1930H) tu lah kot rasa tak sampai2..And we took the van and time to check in @ Royal Mulu Resort 3-5 minutes from the park. Oh btw, throughout the five minutes, I didn't see lights other than our van's.

p/s Cik Mar got her luggage back ! here are the room, for two! so since there were 6 of us so we got 3  
After the hot shower, golek2 kejap atas tilam, we then had our dinner provided in the hotel.
The menu was good . You know what dissappoint people the most when they got to a highly rated hotel? Makan tak sedap! But here, no worry !
I ordered beef steak and the taste was good just that it wasn't really 'well done'
but the malay food macam kueyteow, nasi goreng tu, and then spaghetti and bubur memang sedap. nyummm2

  dah kenyang...balik bilik..enjoy the fluffy bed and pillow ya allah memang empuk oi haha ready for our 2nd day in Mulu ! 2nd day Wind Cave and Clearwater Cave Good day! Mr.X said that he will see us at 0730H so we woke up earlier for breakfast ( nice sleep last night? yes sampai xnak bangun) here comes my favourite part whenever i check in any hotel , the breakfast buffet! hehe    Dah recharged perut , maghi ler kita proceed to two caves by the longboat ! okay ni best . Unfortunately, one of us has to go by another one longboat with another group , and that was for sure Mr Aris the chosen haha so get ready with lifejacket ( air cetek je sebenarnya tapi pakai jela safety kann) and based on what I read on people's blog, they had to push the boat to the water sebab air cetek , nasib baikla time kitorang takyah nak tolak2, air okay je no problemo !( kan semalam hujan) okay jom.  
along the river, we could see some houses on our left side witnessing the local people that was still appreciating the free water supply ( mandi tepi sungai) and Im not kidding, they have Astro plates ye. It was good to see what we rarely see . Told my grandma that they were still washing clothes tepi sungai pakai papan membasuh tu and she said ' kalau mak pakai lagi benda tu korang semua taknak dah balik kampung mak ' haha

ha ! we dropped by the Penan Settlement and they presented their d.i.y traditional crafts. Let's see what they have
  
The prices were way cheaper than in city shop and hotel for sure, and yes they were all handicraft.
We bought some ! I had a rattan ring, and a bead necklace for RM15
A music instrument that needs you to use the nose , this aunty played it well.I ve tried too but it sounded fart hahaha no talent no talent. Aris main lagi la, keluar hingus je rasanya kahkah. Ha then we tried out the sumpit, very short distance but still was not a good shot -,-

Okay done with those , let's go to Wind cave ! What's with it? The wind cave, as it's name was giving its cold breeze but frankly I didnt really notice if it was cold ? lupa dah la haha and not to be forgotten we could not see bats inside but we could see EAGLE ! eah remembering me my first ship sailed in US, 'EAGLE KUANTAN' hehe.tak caya ? scroll down

They asked if we want to walk or proceed by the longboat, so we decided to walk jelah it took only few minutes, and to get to Clearwater cave, we need to climb up the staircase (120 steps) lebih kurang la
Phewww ! There goes to the last cave of the day, we were then seeking for lunch of course ! So we were informed in the itenerary that we gonna have a picnic lunch at the ClearwaterSpring and yea we were allowed to have that water-pampered accompanied by the jungle like area. If u ask me was it really that clear-water kind of spring ? erhmm neyyyhhh so-so but it was, was, really cold ! After the shrinks of the whole organism int the body haha my tummy needed something too so Alhamdulillah we were provided with rice and chicken curry ..nyumm
Tummy happy ? Time to go back to the hotel !
So we had some rest in the afternoon before we went for a walk around the resort and we walked and walked and, okay we couldnt really go that far cz there were nothing else than bushes and a single tar road for the next 2-3 km I guess.Owh and it get quite scary at night kih kihhhhhhh... So we took lots of jumping action photos haha thank god it isnt kamera filem kalau tak habis lah filem nak oiii..haha was really fun with the women ( aris was enjoying the fluffy bed ) till an extend where they kept mentioning of 'pelik' ( weird) that it led to haha #pelikteamever. ha tu la datangnyaaa
It was a last day in Mulu, so yea we should be doing something good ( and why dont if we have chance to try everything in the resorts kannnnn ) so we jumped to the pool yeaaa ! and guess what should be great before we leave? ofcourse some good sayonara meals! tedengggg.....

NIAH NATIONAL PARK
Guess what, I continue writing this after I ve completed my final exam this evening haha ( owh please those books and assignment need me more than this lol) . So lets back to Miri!
We were welcomed by a Mister called again Im not sure sorry and he brought us to Niah National Park. The ontheway- road from Miri Airport to N.N.P was damnly gedeguk gedeguk haha macam kapal offshore rolling gang! So after about One hour, here it is .

Remember, first thing to do once you arrive is to go toilet sishi dulu eaaa... Nanti kat dalam tu nak melepas hajat kat mana pulak kann.. Owh and as u can see gambar atas tu kira macam RnR la, pit-stop to get some drinks and even some cheap souvenirs by the local people. While choosing some of them to be brought home ( which I was then decided to get it on the way back later) , spotted a lady and two boys came out dari lorong belakang RnR ni, wearing same shirts so I was thinking.. Em student mana2 U la ni datang buat research. Okay that was my hypothesis .
Proceeded to the caves, something greenish was right infront of us . Look at this.

Somehow it was kinda out of mind to imagine how did people old days do stuff on their own,by their very own method which were mostly by the sources from the forest area itself .
So long to get in the last cave, but we alls maintain je bro watlek watpeace haha .This is the ...see I couldnt even memorized which is which as it was out of my memory storage haha but If I am not mistaken this is one of the darkest of all and while on our way out from it, he asked us to switch off the head and torch lights to 'feel' the darkness and it was, really dark ( bagus ni untuk saya sebab how I love the darkness of my bedroom that I can sleep dengan nyenyak senyenyaknya haha)

We were informed that a day before our arrival , they were a lot of people coming for the launching of a programme regarding to the resevation of history and thus the paint cave which was not usually opened for public ( even on the day we were there ) were opened but still, we could see all the paintings that I saw in Buku Sejarah Tingkatan Satu few years ago under chapter of zaman peliolitik and all. Wasnt really clear but good enough to see the figures and If you observe them carefully they are, story from the paintings ( which I was not really noticed actually hehe)    The end of Niah Park,in the evening we straightly went to Miri city with same gedeguk gedeguk road but who cares, I told you I can sleep anywhere anyway haha . After the dinner we checked in to Marriot Hotel and after some refreshments we had some chit chats among the ladies at the swimming pool side ( Who says we discriminate Aris, he was there too lah. Sleeping on the couch pfft _) but not to blame him la cz our topics were so unacceptable for a man haha. Okay so after we were run out with the saliva , we went to sleep ! The last day in Miri, after the breakfast we went for the miri city walk, few places around this small yet well known with their oils industry town, we spent the whole day till the evening before the flight back to Kl. I cant write more cz I am so so soooo sleepy somehow my memories start to fade so I dont know what else to write haha bytheway, It was a nice trip ! A really, fun one with them tho I just got to know them for few days. Looking forward for more ! Adiossssss : ) |
Ke te Amor ! haa hahaha tu jela yg tau sebutnya.
The second largest city in Venezuela, Maracaibo was a mid class city which if in Malaysia, I would say that it is kinda the same with emmm Perak or Kedah macam tu la. In the morning I went out to the jetty with my ship crews and honestly, I couldnt even pronounce their words and it was a problem for us to know how to tell the taxi driver later once we want to come back so what we always always remember to do when u are in a country that doesnt speak english, please take picture or write somewhere the place' name where u are heading to.
When it comes to transportation, they provide a very very cheap service ! you know why, because in their country they got free of charge for fuel from the government .( Ofcourse, they got plenty of oil sources that is why my ship is here man ! haha) . Me and my malaysian mates total four of us rented a car together with the driver from morning till night and guess how much we paid to him? USD 15!!
Then the meals, I was informed that the banana is very synonym with this town so when we went to this restaurant, most of the menus were about banana. Banana rice, banana with cheeese, banana with this with that. We spent more than 15 minutes to order cz we ddnt understand a word so how could we make an order ! Luckily the driver knows English tho very little but it helps so he explained each menus haha pity him la but what to do we had to be very careful in picking food. We malaysian be like , eaa ani jee benda alah nya hekeheleh melaysia pun ada pisang ni eah ni apende ni macam kuih kita je bla3 haha ! It was funny to see how each of us were making fun doing the video of JalanJalanCariMakan in Venezuela! haha .
There was not much souvenir that we may get there. In conclusion, from my observations, Maracaibo is actually less safe town, u imagine when it get darker, the driver asked us to stay in a place ,no jalan jalan cz he said, the bad men is everywhere and they usually attacked the tourist, Kami pun apa lagi terus cakap dengan dia hantar kami balik kapal sekarang haha kang tak memasallll ada yang sangkut kat situ haish.
That s the end of my day in Veezuela. Few days before this Maracaibo we went to La Salina, another city in Venezuela and it was the worst experience ever ! It was all because of miss communication, we told the taxy driver that we want to go to this place and he took us wrongly he brought us to another place ! another bad place like ohmygod only God can saves us that night . It was a terrible hours I cant ell exactly what happened but really, just because they dont speak English and we both couldnt understand each other , that thing happened haishhhhhh . !

Why not for the second time to Universal Studio Singapore
isn’t it ? Aha nop with the friends again, I went with Aris and his queens. So surelyy I wasn’t feel that ‘eish rugi la pergi lagi sekali’ cz that place will
always deserve for a next of next and an again of again !
Everything was still the same with my previous visit, except for the Sesame Street !!! Looking at those cute hairy ‘thing’ walking around and dance ,and even talk, tak payah kata Hannah, this 20 years old girl got excited haha .

Second time doesn’t mean I got braver -,- still shouted in
Mummy’s ride haha and Hannah closed her eyes all the way in the dark haha and
owh, I went to the same ones as previous year but just that, we didn’t go to
the Waterworld show . Remember my friends went roll on the roller coaster and I
sat down there and just taking picture? Haaaa so for this second timeee,,
ofcourseee !!! I didn’t go again hehehe. The little 10years old was really
eager to go and we three adults ni yang tak nak naik haha .
And another difference was we ate inside the USS as the
foods were already included in the package that we took . Ha ! and this time I
went inside the Madagascar, which was still under renovation when I came there
for the first time. How was it ? was beautiful , I think it was the only place
which had lots of flowers, colourful and you got that kiddy mood with those
can-speak animals haha. Till then, bye bye !
It’s Tioman Island
I witnessed the wonderful sea everyday of my life when I sailed.
But honestly I didn’t really get that what people call the peacefulness of the
calm sea. How could you feel that if you have to keep working with those scolds
and yelled and those everything-is-wrong situation. So I decided to go
somewhere , anywhere ! My father suggested Tioman Island as it wasnt really
that far from my house, it’s an isolated island, but still ..err ayah.. Laut
lagi ? haha okayla he said it’s much better than going to legoland ! wokayysss
so let’s go.
I didn’t plan for it, really ! The previous night I asked
for my father’s opinion, and the next morning I straightly pergi . Arrived
there with the help of signboards thanx to the Malaysia’s road signboards that
are really HELPFOOL can I say that ??
haish nasib baik sampai haha so then people there showed us the islands and
chalets, choose one ! So we chose Panuba Inn Resort ,45 minutes ferry ride from
the jetty. We stopped at few resorts before ours, and one of theme was Berjaya
Resort, ha that was wooww and ofcourse tunggu I jadi officer dulu baru I amik
yang situ haha. Ferry Ride was 70ringgit both pergi balik and for the resort,
couldn’t really recap but I think it was something around RM200 per night.
It was late evening so without
going anywhere, the best thing was to get a good food there and your foot
on the smooth sands with the beautiful calm waves at night ( it was usually
scary rough when I sailed haha). The first morning, snorkeling was the best
option after breakfast. Stopped pit to few islands for snorkeling, I found the
first stop was the best compared to others . Wasn’t really lively down there I
guess I should go to Maldives for that haha and guess what, I lost the
snorkeling set that was given for rent while on the trying of betulkan rambut
haaa. Tak memasal kena bayar penuh dah.
The whole day was spent for the
beach walk and snorkeling . Had the lunch in Salang Sayang Restaurant at one of
the islands..Haha a funny experienced, I ordered fish and chip and the dish
that was served was REALLY A FISH AND SOME CHIPS. Entah ikan apa dia letak
colour kelabu macam ada la salut tepung sikit, and some fries and tedenggg itu
dia fish and chip kitaaa hahahahah sabar jela.
The last thing was to feed the
fish … Imagine how can people say I am strong, I couldn’t even have the guts to
feed the small fish !!! zzzzz
At night , there was nothing much to do actually , I slept from te evening till 9pm so I missed the dinner buffet and had to order the ala carte which , luckily it wasnt expensive . The next morning is the time to ride the boat back to jetty. I dont know how to spend longer in an island I need to go back ! haha

I mentioned about Hero was at last tak jadi sign off kena pergi Vietnam tu ?
Okay so on our anniversary night, I was at home, skyped with him yang kononnya
was on the way from Kemaman to Vietnam ,I cried to think that damn man it had
been 10 months we never see each other and we nearly got the chance, it
supposed to be today! But weirdly he seemed to be okay je tak sedih pun. So the
next day (exactly on the ann date 22nd JUNE ), I went out with the
family so while in the car, my ex roomates Syikin whatsapp me asking on
something and suddenly she said ‘ untunglah dah sign off first ship, lagi
untung la sign off sama2 dengan Aris .’
huhh? Then I asked her mana abang dia sekarang sebab abang dia satu
kapal dengan budak tu so dia kata kapal tengah anchor kat Kemaman ,Aris sign
off pagi tadi . And suddenly! Someone named Aris texted me ‘ B, hehe I actually
kat shah alam’ ..was still wondering how
can he knew yang tembelang dah pecah rupanyaaaa I saw Ibu was texting with Aris
‘ Aris, dah kantoi, syikin bagitau aris dah sign off’ . k then both ibu and
ayah got a strong smash on their shoulders haha geram gila siap tolong nak
bersubahat ! I mean, see.. they clearly saw me been so upset of this matter and
they kept silent haiyoooo and Ibu said
Aris’ first plan was to come over my house early in the morning and to wake me
up while I sleep hahahah sorry bro u never get succeed on any surprises plan
lol lol lol. So yup, we then meet after 10 months been away sorang kat timur

I told you guys that it wasn’t so fun in Texas right?? Till
I went to the main city, HOUSTON ! A day before my flight back to Malaysia, I
stayed in Sheraton Hotel. So the agent said, I can go anywhere yang I nak pergi
tomorrow morning before my evening flight he will fetch. Soooo I took a look in
the hotel’s review and bling2 ‘7 minutes from the hotel, Galleria Mall is the
third largest mall in THE WORLD bla2’ Damnnn I got no where else to go this is
just a definite YES! Haha so I called Yessica, and she said okay jee lets go.
In the morning, I woke up early and saw a text from the boyfriend that… kitorang
tak jadi jumpa, that dia tak jadi sign off , that dia kena pergi Vietnam, that
bla3 that I balik sana dia tak ada , that then I was so erghh I threw my phone
to the wall ! haha gila sikit la sebab, I was still mamai dengan excited nak
jalan and suddenlyI got that news kan okayla whatever ! So then I waited Yessica down in
the restaurant for breakfast (breakfast tasted sucks cz my mood wasn’t that
pleased) and we proceeded to the mall .
Initial plan, I wanted to keep my money for the anniversary
(the anniversarry is a day after I sampai Malaysia) but since dia xjadi balik, and I pun tengah
pissed off tengah stress, I ended up shopping like crazy there ..See how can
depression turns a girl into a bankruptcy ! 7months worked like hell onboard,
within one day je dah spent too much for shopping, I alamakkk haih, but positively what’s important is the
worthiness .
Me and Yessica kept voicing out the same statement ‘ How I
wish we bring a sugar daddy with us now’ hahaha ‘ erghh I wish I am third
officer !!’ the bad fact was we were
just cadets which had less money compared to the officers and it was really
painful to see those nice stuffs that priced two to three hundreds cheaper than
in our country !!! So supaya x menyesal, beli jela. Was looking for my
bestfriend’s man bag ,Prada and he said the same bag kat KLCC beza harga RM4OO
lebih.. Tapi I tak belikan dia jugak last2 sebab cash dah tak cukup haha ingat
aku anak Dato’ ?lol so at last, I spent 2000 a day in Galleria Mall hehe.

. As the youngest kononnya atas kapal tu kadang2 they were like suka sorok2 benda cz to them im too small and young to know things... ( hello, regardless my size, Ive reached my puberty long time ago -,- ) pfft. So they asked if I knew about this place and I said ha tau je.. sebab bourbon street ni selalu je klua dalam hollywood movie .........

Bourbon Street. Located in New Orlean City, Lousiana, it was only a dull place during the day . But really, I loved the city more than Texas. Kebetulan ada
event of NFU nearby the place that we went, so the night was lively lah. So
whatever the street was, most importantly it was kinda ..hahaha tahla macam
kelakar je la kot mengenangkan , what the hellll mannn bodo gila hahaha. It was
the excitement of New Year for 2012, with me aged of 20 years old, with that
street, errr I mean I shouldn’t be there hahaha sampaikan my officers siap
bersusah payah usaha bagai nak rak to make me look older shitt betul haha till
the point, a Hawaiian girl asked if I am the wife of any of these sailors and I
was like eahhhh xda maknanya Im one of them la gila haha but yang pentinggggg
sedarlah diri sikit , ingat la parents, ingatla boyfriend kat Malaysia tu , so
tak de hal lah takde la pelik2 sangat haha kannnn . I even told my mom (well, nothing to be
hidden ) and she was ..okayyyyy apa2la asalkan pandai jaga diri. Culture shock is sooo nottt mee lol

2oclock
in the morning baru balik , terus masuk duty !!!! was damnly sleepy but kerja
is kerja kannnn. my duty was 12 to 6 so pagi pukul 7 tu Habis duty , keluar lagi ! Ha then only I could see the city
clearly! Without a crowd without those thousands lights without the noises,
without those crappy outfits yang macam alien macam malam tu. As usual, my task was meneman officer 3rd Raoul
beli barang2 for SRC club, walk2 around the mall, and bla3.
Tu jela yang boleh dishare, yang lain tu extreme sangat nak
share takut kena saman hhahaha
Owh hold on... The New Orlean had that its own identity and even a logo ( sekali pandang macam pengakap punya logo) and it is really synonym to the masquerade, those bulu2 stuffs and all. So along the way in the street, you can get a lot of nice stuffs with a cheap price .
Experience in Texas. Firstly came here I saw nothing but
only a small and dark city, well it isn’t a New York or Las Vegas anyway.Tapi
mungkin jugak sebab I arrived there at night and with the feelings of ‘damn now
Im not at home’ . Even on the way from the airport to the Texas port pun, while
other people were busy looking around the city through the coach’s window, I
slept ! haha

So few weeks then I went for shoreleave. The feeling was
kinda excited but still, worried a little bit haha. So pergi dengan my
Malaysian mates, 4th,Roy and Syafiq. These people looked very
familiar with USA I tell you haha and they kept talking about Walmart and Sers.
Okay! Ive heard about Sers, but not..Walmart? Lorh then sampai rupanya Walmart
tu ala2 Tesco dengan Giant kat Malaysia. Ceytt kat sini beli groceries ke jajan
ke okay ler. So then we went to BestBuy haaa here is the place where they sell
all kinda cool gadgets ! More exciting thing is bila kita tengok those gadget
yang kat Malaysia belum ada tu yg sometimes my officers beli benda2 alah gadget
ni pastu poyo2 dengan gang kat Malaysia lol. Owh one more thing , the prices of
the gadgets are far way lagi murah .But honestly other than a simcard and phone
case, I never bought anything there haha.
Months after being onboard, I was then had few chances to go
shoreleave again . The one of the most famous in Texas, Texas roadhouse, I mean the steak house was very nice in
terms of its look .Bab makanan, taktaula nak comment macam mana sebab kita
makan ape je eak masa tu tak order steak pun . Question that my shore friends
always ask, kat sana makan sana makan sini, halal ke? Im no expert nak jawab
tapi this is what me and my muslim mates there believe. Kat Texas tempat
kitorang pergi tu, I can say tak ada satu
pun ada logo makanan muslim atau halal logo ke apa. Jauh sekali kedai makanan islam, The least thing yg kitorang
mampu buat,asalkan bukan daging baby(pork) atau drinks yang kitorang tau sah2 haram
then InsyaAllah .Tu je yang I boleh comment la. So far mana2 restaurant
yang kitorang pergi tu , ha macam tu la. So selalunya order macam potatoes ke tah apa2la.

Sounds like halamekkk macam rombongan sekolah pulak but really yove gone that
far and you even had the chance, takkan tak pergi kot so to be in a very
inspired place where most of the people esp those science student yang teringin
sangat nak pergi tu, okayla I was amazed with how smart the humans can be haha .

THE UNIVERSAL STUDIO SINGAPORE
Hye people, 29th Dis 2011. The date that we went to Universal Studio Singapore. 28th gerak daripada Bp pergi Jb then 29th pagi pergi masuk USS. Let me tell u something guys. I lost my purse! I'm not sure tapi rasanya mmg kena selok dalam beg masa jalan2 kat JPO. what's inside ? duit Rm200 , 80SD means Rm300, then I punya ATM card, member cards outlet2 yg duhh sayangnya then student card, then crew card masa event yg quite precious in my life dulu. And actually the most important thing is, THE PURSE! purse yg paling lama I pernah pakai, purse yg paling I syg , purse MNG in chocolate colour given as a present. . Lebih kurang genap setahun jugak la pakai hilang ni -,-. Before ni pakai purse brapa bulan dah tukar! That's actually what I sad the most meleleh nangis -,-. xdala sbb org bagi plus mmg tu my fvrite purse. Tapi tu la nk buat mcmne dah hilang kan .
Thank you to my aunties , that gave me some SD malam tu , Uncle zul hantr pergi buat report, C.da bagi SD just thank you so much I know I'm havin a very great family in my life . To be with them that day was so fun !

So 29th, the day. Me , Sharena, Epul and Farid went to USS . 0830 from Tune Hotel arrived there at 1030 something. The environment mmg best gila I think it was because the music , the happening people and the buildings that were really amazing in the designation . I was so cuak to get into all those roller coasters but inside there, most of the games memang roller coaster pun haha First, we entered the Light Camera Action! . Was so fun . It was a studio that showed the real film making just like the hollywood. The fire , the wind, rain, the crashed were so real and fantastic to watch it , live! Then we went to em Mummy . we need to que for about 15mnits. And! I was cheated. Sharena told me that it was something like Rumah Hantu . Sekali masuk! it was something such a roller coaster!! cehh again! in a dark place, the roller cster moved backward! and damnly frightened me. God knows how much I shouted haha and the best was I tarik sluar sharena on my left and on my right, tarik jaket Farid haha seriously nk tercabut jantung. To them it might be okay2 je tapi to me yg penakut , takut gayat, huh so sweat man!!

It was bloomed with a very handsome hero that damnly macho doing all those stunt panjat sana sini, jetski , awhh Mariner you were soo hot !!!!!!!! Awh that was the time u might get wet because there will splash you!! shroottt! hahah

Then roller cster again in Jurassic park, and then what else ,, ha 4D Shrek! truely great then we got into the Far2 Away Castle . Then yeassss!!! the TRANSFORMER RIDER! know how long kitorang beratur untuk masuk dalam. 2 JAM! haha sanggup kan ? ramai2 semua beratur sngggup tinggu. Bila masuk, mmg hilang rasa penat beratur 2 jam tu.. mmg speechless how to say , it was damnly amazing ! THAT WAS THE BEST , CHOSEN BY US.

so apa yang kitorang makan ? First since kitorang ni pun baru habis skolah nak save budget (mengenangkan dah la tak kerja ) so we didnt have our meal inside the USS. There were some restaurants avaialable but to see one small plate prices SSD 15 (as we expected) so kitorang dari rumah memang dah standby roti dalam beg haha.. No food allowed but fortunately the ticket entrance was so busy so they didnt check our bag.. hehe ak kantoi tak salah. so after we went out we bought some nasi and chicken chop yg frozen tu kat 7eleven just infront of the USS globe tu. So selamattt kenyang dan save money hekhek.
so 1030 pm balik smpi jb pkul 12. dah penat so tidur JB je. esok pagi baru balik. And yeah thanks to aunty azmah sebab bagi kitorg tidur rumah aunty, buat kn breakfast yg sedap, owh I like your cengkodok pisang aunty : ) just like my mum's. owh picture : )
